Decatur County Hospital Administrator, Lynn Milnes, CEO has announced that all services are now settled in our new facility.  The new design offers more privacy, efficiency and enhanced facilities for the many outpatient clinic and surgical services.  A greatly expanded emergency department includes 3 private exam rooms, 1 trauma room, and the only on site helistop in Decatur County for immediate reaction to the life threatening conditions. Additionally, the facility offers ample waiting areas, family room, outdoor area for a quiet getaway and a gift shop for your convenience. As of June 2013, contributions for this project is $239,603.17. Of that amount, $80,000 was pledged through the Decatur County Hospital Auxiliary.   The giving tree is an outstanding memorial in the lobby of the new hospital.  There is plenty of opportunity to still be part of this excitement.  Donations of $500 and up will be recognized on the giving tree wall.  This is an ongoing opportunity.
