Infusion Therapy Department  Decatur County Hospital has included a dedicated Infusion Department in our new facility. The department is staffed with registered nurses who have recently received special training such as PICC line care and chemotherapy education.  The staff is available Monday- Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, and additional times may be scheduled as needed.  The Infusion Department has 5 bays that are equipped with recliners for the patients and sitting chairs for the family.  The customer response has been very positive about the new area and the staff.   Even if your Physician is out of the area, all we need is the order for you to receive your infusion here at home.
