Rehabilitation Services
alt   The Rehabilitation Services Department at Decatur County Hospital provides Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy.  Our goal is to help our patients recover from illness or injury in order to return to a normal active lifestyle.  Our staff is dedicated to providing the best care possible in a compassionate manner.
Therapy is initiated after a referral from your doctor.  As a patient you are able to receive therapy in the setting that fits your needs.  We provide care in the hospital as well as outpatient and home care.  In the hospital, therapy is directed to facilitate your return home.  If you are unsafe to go home and require further therapy, we are able to do this through our skilled program.  Many times a patient may start with therapy in the hospital and then complete their rehabilitation program as an outpatient or in their own home.
