State Representative Joel Fry Visits Decatur County Hospital

State Representative Joel Fry (R-Osceola) visited Decatur County Hospital on August 7.  Representative Fry met with DCH Board members and senior staff to discuss Medicaid funding issues, mental health concerns and healthcare workforce challenges.  Representatives from the Iowa Hospital Association were also on hand to discuss broader statewide healthcare concerns.  Representative Fry was receptive to the DCH’s concerns and pledged to keep the lines of communication open once the Iowa General Assembly reconvenes in January.
