Position: EMT (Paramedic preferred)

Day/Hours: Rotating Weekday Nights – 2 positions available

Sign on Bonus:

• $3,000 for EMT
• $15,000 for Paramedic

Summary: Administer patient care to critically injured or ill patients on-site and in transit.  Some on-call requires 5-minute response to the hospital.  Provides care to level of certification within the hospital ER and assists with other hospital duties as assigned. This position is responsible for providing pre-hospital EMS care, interfacility transfers, and working in the ER with supervising RN.  Cross training in lab and respiratory therapy required.

Minimum Qualifications: Paramedic or EMT certification by State of Iowa or National Registry, ACLS, PALS, BLS, mandatory reporter with 6 months of hire, NRP within a year of hire, current Iowa class D license, insurable driver.
