Emp Health, Inf Prev, Paramedicine Nurse

This role is responsible for coordinating Employee Health and Infection Prevention programs while supporting Community Paramedicine initiatives and patient experience efforts. This position collaborates with leadership, providers, staff, and community partners to promote employee wellness, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and improved health outcomes across the continuum of care.
The nurse is accountable for reducing the risk of the individuals within the hospital being exposed to infections. Establishes and analyzes infection control patient and employee safety procedures and protocols. Coordinates, performs and maintains employee health immunizations and health assessments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted Iowa RN or LPN License
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required, 3+ years strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Employee Health and/or Infection Prevention experience required; 3+ years strongly preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certification, or ability to obtain
- Infection Prevention Certification (CIC) or willingness to obtain
