Brian Gallagher, MD, was born and raised in Iowa and is proud to call Central Iowa home. He earned his medical degree from the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa in 2003 and completed his urology residency at the same institution in 2009. Since then, Dr. Gallagher has been practicing urology in Des Moines, providing comprehensive care to patients throughout Central Iowa. He is board-certified in urology.

Dr. Gallagher is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality urologic care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. He is excited for the opportunity to serve the Decatur County community, helping patients navigate urologic conditions with expertise, personalized treatment, and a focus on improving quality of life.

Brittany Rygg, NP, earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Carson-Newman University in Jefferson, Tennessee, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Before joining UCI, Brittany spent nine years as an emergency department nurse, gaining extensive experience caring for patients with a wide range of acute and complex medical conditions.

Brittany developed an interest in urology while working in the emergency department, where she witnessed firsthand the significant impact urologic conditions can have on patients’ health and quality of life. She is passionate about educating patients about their conditions and believes in using shared decision-making to develop individualized care plans. Her goal is to help each patient improve their quality of life and achieve their personal urologic goals through compassionate, patient-centered care.
