Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended for routine visits, wellness exams, and ongoing care.

If your child wakes up sick with a common illness, our Pediatric Walk-In Sick Clinic offers same-day care during walk-in hours, no appointment necessary.

 

What is the Pediatric Walk-In Sick Clinic?

Our Pediatric Walk-In Sick Clinic is designed for children who need prompt care for common illnesses, including:

  • Colds and coughs
  • Fever
  • Sore throat
  • Ear pain
  • Minor rashes
  • Upset stomach
  • Other common childhood illnesses

If your child is experiencing difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, seizures, broken bones, or loss of consciousness, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

The Pediatric Walk-In Sick Clinic is located in the Main Hospital, West Entrance at Decatur County Hospital.

 

What are your clinic hours?

Pediatric Clinic & Walk-In Sick Clinic Hours

  • Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Yes. Terri welcomes families looking for a trusted pediatric provider and enjoys building long-term relationships with children and parents through every stage of growth.

 

What makes your pediatric care different?

Terri has dedicated more than 15 years exclusively to pediatric care, including experience at ChildServe and Blank Children’s Hospital. She believes every child deserves compassionate, personalized care and every parent deserves to feel heard.

 

Do you provide sports physicals?

Yes. We offer school, sports, and activity physicals to help your child stay healthy and ready for the school year or athletic season.

 

Do you provide vaccinations?

Yes. We provide recommended childhood immunizations and can answer any questions you have about vaccine schedules and keeping your child protected.

 

When should I bring my child to the emergency room instead of the clinic?

Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if your child has:

  • Trouble breathing
  • Severe bleeding
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Seizures
  • Serious injuries or broken bones
  • Any life-threatening emergency

Our walk-in clinic is intended for non-emergency illnesses.
