Weekly Dermatology Care Coming to Decatur County Hospital
August 20, 2026
Access to dermatology care is expanding at Decatur County Hospital, giving patients more opportunities to receive specialized skin care close to home.
Beginning September 9, 2026, Kiley Howell, NP, will see dermatology patients at DCH every week. This expanded weekly availability means patients can receive care for many common skin concerns without traveling far from home or waiting for limited clinic dates.
Kiley will provide evaluation and treatment for a variety of dermatologic needs, including acne and rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, suspicious skin changes, skin cancer screenings, and other general skin conditions. Whether you have a spot that has changed, a rash that won’t go away, or a skin condition affecting your everyday life, having consistent dermatology care nearby makes it easier to get answers and begin treatment.
Dr. Oben Ojong will continue seeing patients at DCH on a monthly basis for Mohs surgery, a specialized procedure used to treat certain types of skin cancer. Mohs surgery carefully removes cancerous tissue while preserving as much healthy surrounding tissue as possible.
Together, weekly dermatology appointments with Kiley and continued Mohs surgery with Dr. Ojong allow DCH to provide patients with both ongoing dermatology care and specialized skin cancer treatment right here in Leon.
At Decatur County Hospital, our goal is simple: make the care our community needs easier to access, closer to home.
