Cook, Weekend Package

Day/Hours: Full time – 32 hours/weekend, 6:00am-6:00pm, Friday-Sunday

Summary: Prepares hot and cold food for patient meals and café food service using approved menus and recipes. Serves as the Dietary Lead during weekend shifts, independently managing all dietary operations to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality meal service. Responsible for all aspects of meal preparation and service, including stocking food and supplies, cleaning and sanitation, dishwashing, dessert preparation, rolling silverware, and preparing for special events as scheduled. The weekend lead is expected to be fully cross-trained and capable of independently performing all functions of the dietary department.

Minimum Qualifications: Food service experience desirable. ServSafe certification preferred; or must obtain within one year of employment. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
