This year has been an active year for cold and flu viruses. As we continue to experience high rates of viral colds and flu, we want to be sure we share the differences between a cold and the flu virus, and how you should deal with each.
Beginning November 18th, the DCH Outpatient Clinic welcomes Dr. Loutfi to provide Neurology services. Dr. Loutfi will offer services 5 days each month, during the 3rd week of the month. Dr. Loutfi will offer the following services at DCH:
October is Physical Therapy Awareness Month. Decatur County Hospital Rehabilitation Services offer various types of physical therapy and related services. All of our therapists are highly trained and effective in their services.
September is National Suicide Awareness Month, and all month long we’ve been dedicating our DCH Corner to articles about suicide risks, suicide prevention, and ways you can support loved ones or receive support. These articles are also archived on our website (www.decaturcountyhospital.org).

September is National Preparedness Month, which aims at promoting emergency planning for families and communities. Click here to visit the official website of the Department of Homeland Security. The website has a ton of useful information on making disaster kits, formulating safety and financial plans, developing evacuation plans, and talking to your kids and family about what to do in an emergency.
