Beginning July 15th, DCH is excited to welcome a new Outpatient Clinic to our services. Elizabeth Allen will offer Rheumatology services and deliver exceptional care, close to home. Elizabeth “Libby” Allen is an APRN and Family Nurse Practitioner in Browning, Missouri. She graduated with honors in 2016.
Starting July 1, DCH will welcome a new Outpatient Clinic provider to our team. Chandra (Brown) Stanford, ARNP, FNP-C, will offer Chronic Pain Management services and deliver exceptional care, close to home.
Chandra will start at DCH on July 1st and 29th, and will visit on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month starting in August.
To uphold our mission to deliver exceptional care, close to home, we are making it a priority to offer expanded Outpatient Clinics so you can access specific care for your unique health needs.

Starting May 14, 2019, Decatur County Hospital will add a provider to our Outpatient Clinic to meet the unique health needs of women in Decatur County and the surrounding region.

At Decatur County Hospital, our mission is to deliver exceptional care, close to home. To live up to that mission, we have renewed our focus on our Skilled Care (Swing Bed) Program. Our Skilled Care service will allow you or a loved one to recover from a medical procedure or traumatic event close to home.
As evidence of the continued commitment of the Decatur County Hospital Board of Trustees, several Trustees have completed education courses to increase their knowledge of healthcare governance, leadership, and best practices.
Over the next three (3) months, Decatur County Hospital (DCH) will be partnering with Community Health Centers of Southern Iowa (CHCSI) and Decatur County Public Health (DCPH), to complete the 2019 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).
