DCH Corner – Financing Options Available Through HELP

Decatur County Hospital has recently added a new payment option to help you with your hospital or physician bills. DCH has partnered with HELP Financial to offer this service. HELP Financial Payment Plans are designed to offer you a payment choice of up to three years to pay your outstanding balance.

HELP Financial is a service company with over 27 years of experience in lending money to patients to pay their healthcare bills. Many Decatur County Hospital patients will find the HELP Program the most convenient way to pay off a large or unexpected balance.

With all Decatur County Hospital bills, patients now have the following payment options:

1. Payment in Full – You can make payment by Cash, Check, Money Order, Debit Card, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Contact Decatur County Hospital at 641-446-4871 to arrange for payment in full.
2. HELP Payment Plans – If you need more time to pay your hospital balance, you can apply for a 12, 24 or 36 month payment plan. Note: Regardless of the term you choose, your HELP Payment Plan will carry a 0.0% APR during the 12 month introductory period. After that, your APR will be 4.0% on your remaining principle balance only.
3. Financial Assistance – If you have concerns about your ability to pay for healthcare, please call a Financial Counselor at 641-446-4871 for more information about financial assistance.

Our goal is to provide excellent care, close to home. The HELP Financial Payment Plans now available at DCH help us continue that mission. Unexpected expenses are never welcome, but with DCH the burden of those expenses can be lessened.

There are two options available to apply for a HELP Payment Plan:

OPTION 2 Apply at www.helpfinancial.com.

When applying for a HELP Payment Plan, please have your hospital bill available. You will need to provide the following information: guarantor and patient names, guarantor address, hospital account numbers and hospital balances.
